The Program |
Reality Check can help you or your team grow in two key areas: self concept and teamwork. Our philosophy is simple. We create situations in our Outdoor Learning Centers that demand clear communication, effective planning and committed action, and that reward success immediately. Our courses offer specific opportunities for breakthrough in the areas of self concept and self limitation. Participants are encouraged to explore and expand the range of their abilities in a supportive but challenging environment. As part of a group effort, they may discover untapped personal resources as they adopt the success methods of others. Team leaders investigate the methods and potentials of a team and its members, and learn to better access these potentials to raise productivity. |

|
Many of our events are designed to help an individual or team learn to make workable commitments and carry them to completion. Participation in these exercises has proven its value to business leaders and to individuals in pursuit of personal goals.

Our Outdoor Learning Centers are located in Northern California at the Westerbeke Ranch, White Sulfur Springs and at Ironstone Vineyards. They feature a wide range of activities, each designed to focus attention on a different aspect of team work or personal growth. These include easily accessible trust and communication exercises, as well as very dramatic high ropes challenges. We are also pleased to announce our partnership with Transformation, a leading French training and consulting firm. This exciting new agreement makes on-site outdoor training seminars available on an international basis. Our events are tailored to meet your program's needs and to accommodate the physical level of the group. Our staff, under the direction of Lane Tietgen, is trained to guide every participant through the experience in an atmosphere of trust and confidence, to allow a clear focus on improving both method and result. |

Our programs offer remarkable opportunities
for rapid and effective team building. As participants learn to rely on
one another in an outdoor adventure context, a sense of camaraderie develops
that focuses the competitive energies of each team member on the goals of
the group. This newly developed sense of mutual trust and reliance may then
be expanded into other areas of activity.
